The GET SMALL San Francisco minifig series showcases four well-known San Francisco artists -- Jeremy Fish, Sam Flores, Coro and David Choe.  Produced by Upperplayground, Fifty24SF, and Ningyoushi, the series features an original figure from each artists -- Bunnyskull by Jeremy Fish, Billy Bronze by Sam Flores, Ortho by Coro, and Siamese Twin by David Choe.   Each Get Small San Francisco character is delivered to collectors by way of a San Francisco public transporation bus-shaped box. 

We've been keeping an eye out for these ever since they were shown in early proto form at Toy Fair this past February.  It's good to see more original figures -- celebrating the artists work on their own terms rather than being constrained to a pre-existing shape.  This is the shape of things to come -- minfigs are no longer just small platforms.
